The recent volcanic environment where the Tao Mazo Villas and Apartments are located is a volcanic alignment that also forms the Caldera Encantada badlands. Halfway between the white sand beaches of El Cotillo and those of the Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park, close to the northern coastline famous for its many water sports, lies the town of Lajares. The area is a peaceful and inspiring place surrounded by stunning scenery, where the light takes on a new meaning depending on the time of day.

If you are coming from Fuerteventura Airport (FUE), the most convenient option is to hire a car, mainly taking the FV-1 and then the FV-10 northbound (the journey takes about 30-40 minutes). For a more economical option, the public transport company Tiahde (tiahde.com) offers bus routes connecting the airport with different parts of the island, possibly including a route with a connection to Lajares.
